Access & Equity
Informed by his career in public health, Dr. Brian is a passionate advocate for improving access to quality, affordable oral health care, and increasing equity for underserved and underrepresented populations.
From 2017 through 2018, Dr. Brian served as consultant to the Narragansett Tribe of Rhode Island leading their efforts in clinical service expansion and administrative strategy. Dr. Brian has authored and co-authored expansive and diverse grant applications resulting in direct infrastructure support, and the building of change opportunities for marginalized groups. Grant awards include various local, state, and national philanthropic agencies such as the DentaQuest Partnership for Oral Health Advancement, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of North Carolina Foundation, The Duke Endowment, CareQuest Institute for Oral Health, Dogwood Health Trust, and Connecticut Health & Educational Facilities Authority.
