Nonprofit Leadership
In 2018, Dr. Brian returned to the South, assuming leadership of the North Carolina Oral Health Collaborative (NCOHC), a program of a 501(c)3 advancing systems-level changes through strategic partnership development, education, and legislative and regulatory policy reforms. He served as Director of NCOHC through 2022.
As Director of NCOHC, Dr. Brian managed a multi-million dollar grant portfolio and was responsible for programmatic capacity building, organizational strategy, community engagement, communications/media relations & PR, and legislative and regulatory action.
