A Passion for Public Health
Dr. Brian has always been passionate about public health and expanding access to affordable, quality care for the underserved and underrepresented.
After graduating from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, and following an associateship in private practice, Dr. Brian signed on with Indian Health Service. He moved to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, where he would serve as Site Director for the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians.
In 2017, Dr. Brian served as the Dental Director with Fair Haven Community Health Care in New Haven, Connecticut — a Federally Qualified Health Center in partnership with Yale University. As Dental Director, Dr. Brian focused on expanding access, increasing equity, and improving interdisciplinary integration. Shortly after coming onboard, Dr. Brian re-established the Dental Directors Task Force for the state of Connecticut in an effort to share best practices, increase collaboration, and advocate for legislative change.
